The effects of TikTok and Instagram have on the perception of a body of teenagers and the reasons for body dissatisfaction among teenagers

Although the research has found that most people (locally) understand the idea of "ideal" body image as a standard of beauty. Little research has examined the behavior of teenagers and cyberbullying in social media, especially in TikTok and Instagram platforms. In the currents study, 150 respondents answered specific questions by survey, where 12-15 years old teenagers were 18, 16-18 years old teenagers were 80, and adults were 52. And women outnumbered men (94 females, and 56 males). Results revealed that women thought it is all about comfort and self-acceptance, whereas men believe that the ideal body has slim and thin bodies, while men had a common idea of the body in the questionnaire. Analysis revealed that the main behavior of teenagers was cyberbullying and toxic behavioral patterns in TikTok and Instagram. Secondary research along with the survey helped to identify the reaction of people to cyberbullying. The results showed that most people are ignoring this serious issue and have to do nothing about it. All the conclusions above can be generalized locally and globally since the sample of this research was city dwellers of Oskemen and analyzing the behavior of teenagers worldwide in TikTok and Instagram. The results on body dissatisfaction and cyberbullying can be used to take action to solve the issue related to them. Also, school and university administrations can make some events by helping youth to cope with stressors (social media, etc.).
